Greetings!

Welcome to  Soil-Substructure Interaction Lab (SSIL) of Yonsei University.

Yonsei SSIL has educated and accomplished numerous achievements in the field of foundation of high-rise building, long-span bridges, NATM tunnels and other infrastructures. Our lab educated and trained students to be the leaders in the field of foundation designing, and produced 18 doctors, 38 masters doing their part in the society.

And now, we are training 3 doctoral, 2 joint master-doctoral scholars and 4 masters students. Current members of our lab are also doing their part, studying and researching. We cordially invite those who wish to explore our laboratory to see how one can realise their career goals and share in the pursuit of engineering excellence in the service of humanity.

This website provides wide range of information on curriculum of foundation engineering education, activities of graduate students, and programs related to the foundation research.
